England 195 v Bangladesh 167 - England Under-19s won by 28 runs
On Monday, January 30, 2012 England Under-19s won the fifth youth One Day International match against Bangladesh by 28 runs, at Sylhet Stadium.
After winning the toss, the team from Bangladesh chose to filed first in order to give their bowlers a first chance to have a go at the batting side.
However, the decision backfired as the Bangladesh bowlers were completely subdued by England’s openers Daniel Bell-Drummond and Sam Kelsall, who gave their team a stand of 43 runs.
Drummond was the first wicket to fall for England as he departed after playing a well tamed innings of 11 runs.
Chaos hit when on just 45 runs, England lost their second wicket as number-three batsman, Jack Leaning fell after scoring only a run.
England hit troubled waters when with a score of 73 runs, they lost their star batsman Kelsall, who perished after playing a valuable innings of 43 runs.
Kishen Velani then got run out after scoring 13 runs. At the time of his wicket, England had amassed 85 runs.
Rammy Singh and Sam http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Wood-c98110 then took charge as they challenged the Bangladesh bowlers in a bid to post a respectable total on the board.
The two batsmen hammered 38 and 32 runs before losing their wickets, while in the later part of England’s innings it was Craig Overton who smashed valuable 22 run and stayed unbeaten to help his side post 195 runs on the board.

With a meagre total ahead, the hosts were favoured to come out as winners at the end, however, they managed to amaze everyone by giving a colourless batting performance, with none of the batsmen going on to play a big innings – causing chaos within the batting order.
