An intense bowling attack launched by the South Africa Women enabled them to claim a 7-wicket win over the Bangladesh Women at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on September 9 – a victory which saw them securing the 3-match ODI series 2-1, during
their ongoing tour of Bangladesh.
The Bangladesh Women won the toss and elected to bat first. However, not a single bowler from the South Africa Women team went wicketless, with Player of the Match Shabnim http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Dane-van-Niekerk-c52216 (7-0-24-2), Marizanne

By this point, in the 17th over, the Bangladesh Women were at 36 for 7, but the lower order failed to rise to the challenge of bringing the score up to a respectable total. Ritu Moni (8), Tazia Akhter (0), and Khadija Tul Kubra (5) remained unremarkable,
and by the 25th over, the Bangladesh Women finished, all out, at a mere 60.
The South Africa Women breezed through the 61-run chase, and despite the efforts of Salma Khatun (8.4-2-20-2) and Khadija Tul Kubra (4-0-16-1), the team easily reached 61, led by Chetty, who completed nearly half the chase.
