Bangladesh cricket team will receive a historic reception in Pakistan, says Intikhab Alam – Cricket News Update
Former Pakistan captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Intikhab-Alam-c64380, is jubilant that Bangladesh cricket team is going to visit Pakistan later this month and expressed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will give a very warm reception to the hosts.
If everything is finalized and the tour goes according to the plan, international cricket will return to Pakistan after a gap of more than three years.
Intikhab has been an integral part of PCB since the last couple of years and is presently the Director of International Cricket Operations in the board. The former captain is very confident that the country will be able to host the series efficiently.
PCB and their Bangladeshi counterparts were in negotiations since the last six months about the tour but nothing was confirmed, until Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced last week that its team is going to visit Pakistan later this month for a very
short tour.
Intikhab believes that this is great news for the future of cricket in Pakistan and if everything goes according to the plan, Pakistan will definitely invite other teams as well. He also expressed that the return of international cricket to the country is
a massive breakthrough for PCB.

Although no international cricket has been played in Pakistan since the last three years, Intikhab is still confident that Pakistan can provide high-class facilities to the touring teams. He further added that no compromise will be done on the security of
the Bangladesh cricket team and claimed that the short tour is going to be a memorable one.
