Bangladesh gain one position in ICC ODI rankings
Bangladesh have improved their position in the ICC ODI rankings after they edged behind West Indies to grab the eighth position.
This rise in the rankings has come for Bangladesh following their recent strong performances.
Bangladesh hosted two One-day International series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045 and won them convincingly. They did not allow the Kiwis to win a single match in the five-match series, but Zimbabwe managed to defeat them on one occasion in four matches.
Improvement in the ODI ranking will be a confidence booster for the Bangladeshi players. They will be the co-hosts of the ICC World Cup 2011 along with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 and Sri Lanka. Their recent performances at home soil have warned all the other teams of their strength
while playing at home.

The first match of the mega event will be played between India and Bangladesh on 19 February, 2011 at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, Bangladesh.
