Team Bangladesh will not be able to visit Pakistan until 2012 amid its busy schedule.
Ruling out the possibility of Bangladesh visiting Pakistan for Test or one-day matches during 2011, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mustafa-Kamal-c78122, the president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board said that it was not possible for his team to visit Pakistan before 2012.
While talking to a news channel, the president BCB said, “Pakistan and Bangladesh should definitely play, there is nothing wrong in it. I had a fruitful meeting with the PCB Chairman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ijaz-Butt-c64128 in this regard recently but next year we will only be sending
either our under-19 or academy team to Pakistan.”
According to him, it was only possible for the team Bangladesh to visit Pakistan in or after 2012. While sharing his views, Kamal made it clear that at least his board was satisfied with the possible security arrangements in Pakistan for his team. Unlike
other teams around the world, he did not have any fears about the security issues.
Dwelling upon the matter, the president BCB said, “It is only because of the tight schedule of the national team, touring Pakistan next year is highly unlikely. We don’t see any law and order issue in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 at all. If law and order would have been the
issue, then how come we would be sending our under-19 team to Pakistan?”
Kamal also went on saying that both of the boards were having normal relations and there was no misunderstanding on either side. Supporting his view point he said that had there been any concerns, Bangladesh couldn’t have arranged a one-day series against
Pakistan back in march 2009 when team http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 was attacked in Lahore by the terrorists. He also made it clear that the Bangladesh government had nothing to do with holding the series and the matter was closed now.
Instead of Bangladesh, Pakistan has good chances of hosting a one-day and T20 series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 in June 2011.
