Bangladesh continued its supremacy over the Zimbabweans, trouncing them in the fifth and final ODI by 4 wickets to record a 3-1 series win.
The match played at the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zahur-Ahmed-c98518 Stadium in Chittagong was dominated by the hosts from the outset as they rocked the Africans with some early wickets that never allowed them to recover.
The first three wickets were lost with the total at 21 inside the first 11 overs of the innings; the first one to go was Brendon http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915 who got run out without scoring.

undue risks through out their alliance.
Ervine fell with the total at 116, he was smartly held by Mushfiqur Rehman with Captain Shakib Al http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hasan-c61990 the successful bowler. The left handed batsman scored 46 runs off 100 balls hitting a solitary 4 in his innings.
Skipper Elton Chigumbura joined Taibu, the Zimbabweans were running out of overs at this juncture and he was eventually dismissed for 23 runs off 34 balls, he hit 1 four and 1 six in his innings.  
Taibu was snapped by Mortaza off the bowling of Shakib Al Hasan. He scored 64 runs and hit 1 four and 1 six in his 104 ball knock.
The Zimbabweans failed to do much in the last few overs and had to be content with a below par total of 188/6 in the allotted overs.
The Bangladeshi chase started off on a positive note and despite losing opener Imrul Kayees for 2 runs, the pair of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Tamim-Iqbal-c2640 and Junaid Siddiqui tore into the opponents.
The two made most of the scoring opportunities that came their way smashing a 136 run stand.
Tamim Iqbal scored a blistering 95 off 96 balls, his knock included as many as 7 sixes, the hosts cantered home in their chase, completing the target in the 43rd over of the match.
The Bangladeshi captain Shakib Al Hasan praised the work of his team and claimed that the squad was in the right frame of mind for next year’s World Cup.
"We came back really hard at them, played really good cricket," Shakib said.
The Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium is one of the venues for the World Cup and the Bangladeshi captain praised the track and the facilities in place at the venue. "The track played really well though the outfield was slow. There was some
spin later on but the batsmen handled it really well."
He was also happy with the form of Tamim, who recently returned from injury; "Our top order hasn't been scoring runs, today they did and I'm happy about that. Our fast bowlers have bowled well in the last couple of games and the fielding
has been good. Though we have dropped some catches, our body language has been good."
Zimbabwean skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Elton-Chigumbura-c55937 was unhappy with his team’s performance and conceded that his team needed to do a lot more if they were to compete well in next year’s World Cup.
“Very disappointed to lose the game, Bangladesh batted well right through the series and we need to improve our batting. We need to be an altogether different side, in batting when we come for the World Cup"
