Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first, with Mashrafe Mortaza (4-0-33-2) and Shakib Al Hasan (4-0-21-2) leading the attack.
Ireland’s innings got off to a strong start, with skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ed-Joyce-c1417 (39) did not allow the team’s momentum to flag, teaming up with Stirling for a 64-run stand for the second wicket.
