Bangladesh versus New Zealan, 3rd ODI
The 3rd ODI match of the 5 match series between New Zealand and Bangladesh proved to be a one sided contest. Every cricket fanatic in the World of cricket, presumed a battle of inequality between the two sides.
In between, Bangladesh came into the 3rd ODI with great confidence to devastate their opponents.  As a result, in a one sided affair of cricket at Mirpur, the Bengali Tigers beat the Kiwis by 7 wickets.
The 3rd   ODI between, two Test playing nations proved to a battle between, Bangladeshi spinners and New Zealand Batsman.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 by 7 wickets at Shere-Bangle stadium. In doing so, they did win two consecutive ODIs against a top-notch outfit for the first time in their history of
232 matches.
Bangladesh's batsmen took full advantage of the situation, after their trio of spinners had tormented the Kiwi batsmen. The Bangladesh batsmen did not disappoint, hunting down the modest total of 173 in only 40 overs.
However, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first on a helpful pitch. New Zealanders batted first, piling on 173 runs in the first innings of the match.
Shafiul Islam opened the bowling in spectacular fashion as he cleaned up dangerous Brendon McCallum, who top scored in the first ODI. So the first part of the battle was won.
However, Jessie Ryder and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BJ-Watling-c1172 brought New Zealand’s innings to a better position. The pair added 54 runs for the 2nd wicket, till Abdur Razzak ended Watling’s (20) stay on the crease with a score line of 55/1 in 13.3 overs.
Henceforth, Bangladeshi spinners announced themselves, on the scene, troubling New Zealand batsmen.
Furthermore, in the very next over Suhrawadi Shuvo started one of most economical spells you will ever see, by dismissing Ryder with his mean left arm spin. He finished his quota of ten overs with amazing figures of 3/14. Shakib chipped in with the wicket
of Elliot with his left arm crispers.
Add to this, the spinners of Bangladesh scalped four more wickets to dent New Zealand quite badly. As a result, the score line showed up 7/101 in 33 overs. Ross Taylor was the only batsman in the Kiwi side, who looked in control of the situation.
As a result, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915 countered the spin of Bangladesh very well as he went on to score 62 runs off 72 balls, remaining unbeaten in the process to score runs.
A brilliant 72-run partnership between Ross Taylor and Kyle http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mills-c76321, boosted the innings to a total of 173/8 with 8 overs to go. Nobody else supported Taylor to extend the final total as the last two wickets fell without scoring.
Moreover, a target of 174 was always going to be a walk in the park for the Bengali Tigers, especially with their dashing batting line-up and New Zealand’s struggling bowling.
The Bangladeshi openers, Imrul Kayes and Shahriar started the innings aggressively. They hammered bad balls away through point and straight down the ground to register 35 runs on the board without losing a wicket after five overs, before lunch break interrupted
the batsmen’s pursuit.
As expected, without any change as the innings resumed, though, as the opening pair continued from where they left, picking more boundaries. As a result, they achieved their first fifty in 7.3 overs.
Furthermore, the openers added, a 127 run stand in 24 overs, before Nafees left the pitch, courtesy of some quality spin bowling by Nathan McCallum, though the left hander added a run a ball 73 runs. In addition, the off-spinner added one more to his tally
by dismissing Kayes on 50 runs.
Andy McKay brought the demise of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Junaid-Siddique-c1749 as the score line read 3/159 in 37 overs, but it was all too late.
Shakib ul Hassan and Raqibul Hassan guided their team to a thumping 7-wicket victory, scoring 13 and 18 runs, respectively.
Bangladesh, now look to be favourites to win the fourth ODI and the series as their confidence levels after beating their opponents in two successive ODIs has surely increased.
