Question:

Bangs on a toddler or no?

She's 15 months old, very thin hair, just past her neck. It's shorter around her ears (almost looks like a mullet lol) and she has bangs.

Do toddlers usually have bangs or should I let them grow out?

  1. It is 100% up to you how your toddler wears her hair.  Sometimes it's hard because they don't have a lot of hair and it grows in at different lengths.

If you think she looks good with bangs then yes. If you decide to grow them out remember you will have to keep them out of her eyes with a barrett or something, since she doesn't know how to take care of her own hair yet.

If you are having a hard time.  Take her to the salon and let your hair stylist decide.  They are trained to know what styles look best on different shapes of faces.  Getting bangs trimmed doesn't usually cost too much.

    Good luck!

  2. Both my toddlers have bangs.

  3. My kid has bangs. Without them hair would be in her face all the time.

  4. both of mine have them.  i didn't want to cut their hair at all, but one day i came home and my husband gave them bangs.  they look really cute, but you have to trim them all the time and my oldest doesn't like them now.  growing out her bangs has made a dent in my bank account - she insists on headbands!  lots and lots of headbands.

  5. Sounds like my 15-month-old.  Her hair is growing longer in the back than on the sides and on top.  I think at some point we are going to just trim the back and let the rest keep growing.  We always kind of comb the front of her hair to the side.  I think it's just up to you.  You can let the front grow out or cut bangs.  If the hair starts growing into her eyes, bangs might be a great idea unless you want to have to put barrettes in her hair every day to keep it out of her face.  If your daughter's hair is as thin and fine as mine, barrettes do not stay.

  6. Bangs are great for toddlers... in fact, I remember having them until I was bout 4 or 5!!! They are a little difficult to grow out though, so just make sure when you and your toddler decide to grow them out that you stock up on a lot of clips!!! :D

  7. I work at a daycare an sometimes we cannot stand kids without bangs! if she lets you put the front in a ponytail its fine but we have kids whos parents wont cut their bangs so they constantly have hair in their eyes.

personally I think without bangs is cute but if her eyes are covered i would cut the bangs

  8. I like toddlers with bangs!  Just say no to the baby mullett!!  Cut that girl's hair! :)

  9. bangs are great on small children. at that age its sometimes hard to get them to keep hair ties and such in their hair. they want to pull them all out and then their hair is always in their face and eyes.

  10. actually most toddlers have bangs.
