i made a claim for my bank charges some time ago and for some reason its all gone a bit quiet. do u have any idea when i will hear anything else or when anything might happen or even why i have not heard for a while?

All bank charges claims are currently on hold while the court case to decide whether the charges are reasonable is being sorted out.

call them back.  If it was a disbute about a credit card claim call the number back on the card.

It can take up to 6 months to get a response back.

it's likely that your claim will be on hold pending the result of a current test court case

at the moment, the courts are deciding whether the charges are fair and legal - so all banks are putting claims on hold til they get the results (they obviously won't pay out if they don't have to)

once the case is completed, and the verdict known, you'll find out whether you'll be getting your money back or not
