  1. Get a job and stop walking around with your hand out thinking the World owes you a free living.

  2. Pay your bills, on time and with the correct amount and there wont be any problem.  Yes, of course they can take the money you owe from your account, regardless of where that money came from.

Your illiterate rant is not very clever!

  3. actually i think you will find they cant do that even if it stated in your terms and conditions because what they are doing is actually illegal the office of fair trading stated that the banks are only allowed to penalise us for the lost that they suffer and are not allowed to make a profit , it does not cost them 66 pounds to send out a letter to inform you that you have gone overdrawn so there for your are legally entitled to claiming back your money. there is a great company who can help and they do not charge a settlement fee and they do all the work for you for 74.95 i got my money back real fast for the last 6 years . i dealt with tony howe

  4. they have every right to do that.

  5. Hi,

I would go into the bank and ask to book an appiontment with somebody. If this is the first charge you have had on the account the bank will refund it right away as a gesture of good will.

If its Natwest they normally refund the charge if the money has gone in within 3 days.

You need to speak to a human face to face and explain the situation.

    Good luck

  6. Whether the money is for you or your child, the bank can and will charge you for being overdrawn. If its the first time its happened they probably will refund you, but if it happens often you just have to pay up. Try and rearrange the direct debits so the date it comes out matches when money is paid in. Banks get rich by doing this and you as the customer have to live with it unfortunately.

  7. Go down to the branch in person and kick up as big a fuss as you can, chances are they will refund the charges, don't bother trying over the phone: branch staff are often a lot more helpful and in most cases do have the power to reverse these sort of charges.

  8. they can take the money from whatever income you have, regardless of what its for. you can write and complain and ask them to refund you the charge.
