Bank of America e-bill down.

Since the 28th of last month I have not been able to pay my credit card online. I am asked to enter a new account, routing number ect. I called customer service Friday and after a few minutes the rep said service was down and was being worked on. He did not seem to know what was going on or how to handle the call. We went to another site and that was down also.

Has anybody had the same problem? I would have thought that this would be in the news or something.

  1. Did you call the regular customer service number?  If so, I would try calling back to their technical support number:

    Online Banking Technical Support

    1.800.792.0808 (California)

    1.866.399.0122 (Idaho, Washington)

    1.800.933.6262 (All Other States)

    Monday through Friday

    7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

    Saturday and Sunday

    8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

      


  2. in the age of computers it is not that uncommon for a bank to have computer problems and be "dead in the water"  happen to me the last time i was in trying to buy a cd!!!

  3. Are you trying to initiate payment from the credit card end, or your check account end?  I usually initiate credit card e-payments from my checking account (different major bank).

    The only things I initiate from the other end are to auto-pay my electric bill and home mortgage, auto-replenish my I-Pass (vehicle tolls), and my phone bill (manually)
