Question:

Bank of America "lost" my deposit of $750!!!! What should I do?

I am looking for the reciept right now, but If I can't find it, then what?

Their computer was down the day that I made the deposit. Please help.

  1. One if the computer was down, I would have never deposited it.  Second, I think B of A is one of the worst banks out there so...

    Third, FIND THE RECEIPT!!!

    Fourth, if it was a check like the other person said have that person let you know when it is cashed...

    Finally, if it was Cash, unless you have the receipt your basically SOL.

    My last advice: SWITCH BANKS!!


  2. If it was a check for $750, you can call the person/company who wrote you the check and ask them to notify you when it is cashed, then do a trace on which account it was deposited into.

    If you deposited cash----you're gonna have to find that receipt.  B of A should have videotapes of all teller transactions, but it would be a lot easier to prove if you have the receipt.

    Also, call the branch manager of the B of A you dealt with and discuss it with him/her to see how to proceed.
