imisshim is correct. Its right there on your debit, for WA peeps. I think thats really stupid actually.

  1. At BofA, only Washington state account holder's account number is located within their debit card numbers. If you bank with BofA in any other state then as the other replies have stated either look at one of your checks for the account number, contact customer service, or visit your local banking center and a teller can give you that information.


  2. I very much doubt it, that would be a huge problem if it was...anyone who looked at your card would know your account number.

    Just call Bank of Am customer service and ask them to give you your account #

  4. No. your account number and debit card number are different. If it wasn't everyone in the world would have access to you bank account number.  Look on the bottom of one of your checks, your account number is after the routing number. If you don't have that you will have to call the bank for your account number. they can verify your identity over the phone and give it to you.
