  1. Bank of America is a great place to work. They are a stable company with a ton of great, usable benefits that will apply to everyone, such as help with daycare expenses, education reimbursement, or military leave pay. You will discount mortgage rates, car loans, even help with adoption of a child.  As an associate you can earn rewards points to be used for different things( i got my george foreman indoor outdoor grill and some martini glasses under this:completely free) even towards classic cars and vacations. You will get a discount on your cell phone, car rentals, movie tickets, sea world tickets; they have boards for volunteering such as with Habitat for Humanity, Spirit Club,  and you earn rewards points for that too.In addition because Bank of America is everywhere you can transfer cross country and still have the flexibility to move within different areas of the bank. Diversity is important to the bank as well as core values. It is not stressful, no, anymore than any other job. However you have to be flexible as well, and understand that it is a bank that is tied to nearly everything going on in the news nowadays, with the mortgage, economic and stock market crisis. The goal yesterday may not necessarily be the goal tomorrow. If there is no call center near you, then I would suggest going in as a Personal Banker. They get paid more and work less.  As a seasoned BOA employee, I have used nearly every single benefit they have to offer.I say go for it, it will be a lovely, knowledgeable experience.
