Direct-deposit-of-net-pay contracts: under what conditions may the payor interpret them as direct-withdrawal? The contract contains no such clause assenting to a quick, unilateral withdrawal from my bank account if, in one party's opinion, I was overpaid on some occasion. What laws and / or regulations govern how such a situation gets resolved?
