  1. If the equipment is attached to the building, screwed down or attached to plumbing, it is part of the building and belongs to the owner of the building.

A free standing stove, for example, if it is plugged into an outlet, is furniture, and not part of the building.  If, however, it is hard-wired to the wall, it is part of the building.

Dishwashers are most always plumbed into the building, and are thus part of it.

If it is not attached, you can take it.

  2. Proof of payment is the key. If you lost your proof of payment, then try to get the receipt from the store where you purchased the equipments. If your landlord take you to court, your evidence (proof of payment) would help you to win the game.

  3. i don't understand.

you bought them, how can he stop you from selling them?

  4. If you bought them on your own dime, then you can sell them.  Put them on craigslist and see how much $$ you can get.  You can always bail the apartment if need be.
