Bannana tree?

I recently got a bannana tree n I was wonderin if any1 knew the best methods to grow one.

Banana plant requires lot of water but it dislikes water logging conditions. It needs fertilisers dose regularly and it is a 10 month crop. After planting it takes 5-6 months to flower and then 5 months to get the fruits. So you have to be patient with the plant.  Needs regular attention for water, fertiliser, pest control. When the bunch formation takes place, it becomes too heavy for the plant to bear the weight  of the bunch. So additional support may be given by putting Y shaped strong wood or using strong bamboos.
