Banned IP address from forum?

My IP address was banned for no reason. I just logged on one day, and the site said my IP address was banned. Will I ever be able to get back on the site?

If you were using a proxy, a lot of sites ban you straight away. If you weren't it might just be that someone has spoofed your IP. It won't be anything personal, just bad luck. Use a friend's PC and contact the admin or mods.

Be polite and rational, explain the problem and go from there. If you're on a wi-fi router, turn it off and back on again, then try the site again. If you have roaming DNS you'll be back in straight away.

You need to contact the site administrator and explain the problem. You could be blocked because of something someone else has done on your computer.
