Banned from yahoo?

Question

Every time my brother types in his username and password, it says "invalid user ID/password", but he knows for a fact that it is the right username and password because he checks it nearly every single day. Caps lock is not on or anything, and it is for 100% sure the right user ID and password, and caps lock or is never on. Could it be that he was banned from yahoo without warning?

I'm not sure you can be banned from Yahoo without them telling you, but maybe somebody he knows went into his account and changed his password without him knowing it.
