Banned items?

Question

I have seen people selling all sorts of items including ointments / creams to enhance the sexual processes in young couples. These influential people are importing in the name of cosmetic goods and selling these items on-line. Is it legal? Does it not require any license? Are these items not banned in India?

They only need the local business licenses. It is legal. They are banned from direct sales in India but so far they haven't done anything about online sales.
