  1. "You can ban a person from your group even if that person is not already a member." This allows you to prevent people you know to be troublesome from joining your group in the first place.

All you need is their Yahoo ID or email address!

To ban a person who is not a member:

    - Click on Members, at the top left is the "Ban" tab.

The ban tab will only be available if you are the group Owner or Moderator (with the appropriate privileges).

    - Click on the "Ban" tab

    - Enter their Yahoo ID or email address.

    - Hit the blue "Ban Members" button at the bottom.

Banning a member will prevent that person from joining your group. You may enter either email addresses or Yahoo! IDs. You can ban 50 members from your group per day.

The Ban Member feature should be used with care. Banning removes the member and prevents the member from rejoining the group until the ban is removed.

Note: You can also ban the author of a message directly from the individual message page by clicking Ban author under their Yahoo! ID.

  2. you go to the members list- look on top right Invite People | Remove | Ban | Download | Export- click the Ban- add the address into the box and click Ban Members

  3. don't think you can.  If they rejoin, then ban them.
