Banning abortions; and teaching creationism in schools?

I don't think thats right! It's YOUR body and YOUR choice! The government should not be poking their nose in your business! What if the baby is a danger to the mother? Or what if the person was raped? Incest? What if the baby turns out to have a mental problem that causes them to die young? Why, why, WHY would someone want to give birth to a child like that?!

And teaching creationism is wrong as well! Not everyone believes in the same thing as you! If anything, it should be an ELECTIVE in schools. There are tons of religions, who says yours is right?

This are the type of things that make me want to move to an actual "free" country. USA is a bunch of bull shite.

Does McCain and Stalin, er....Palin support those? Or Obama? I don't like either of the "candidates".

  1. They're just trying to make sure that the Religious Right votes for them in November.

  2. Obama supports pro choice. You are right about everything. Good luck*

  3. That's what bothers me about her way of thinking. If a father rapes his 12 year old daughter, and she gets pregnant, Palin is still against this poor girl aborting the baby. She would force a child to bring to term a baby fathered by her own father. That blows my mind. Even the  most pro life people would probably "make an exception" in a case of incest.

  4. Right, all they have going for them are the fundy zealots, if they approve of g*y marriage, abortion and disagree with creationism they've lost all their votes right there.

  5. Abortion is justified only if it is necessary to save the mother's life.

    "It's YOUR body"

The fetus is not her body. Being inside one's body and actually being part of it are not necessarily the same.

    "and YOUR choice!"

One's "choice" to have s*x? I agree. One's "choice" of having an abortion? I disagree.

"The government should not be poking their nose in your business!"

True, but this is more than the woman's business. You are forgetting the baby which actually gets aborted.

"Or what if the person was raped? Incest?"

Are children in such scenarios less human than others?

"What if the baby turns out to have a mental problem that causes them to die young?"

Better for them to be born so that they live as much as they can, instead of cutting their already short life even shorter by means of abortion.

"Not everyone believes in the same thing as you!"

One could say the same of evolution.

  6. OK first off, when a baby is being formed, the baby is NOT a part of a woman's body.  The baby or embryo is in a womb that is attached but not physically a part of it.  No you have no case there.  Your body, your choice?  Last time I checked a woman doesn't impregnate herself by herself, it's with the help of a man, the baby isn't just hers, it's the man's too.  So he has the right to have a say.  What's funny is these liberal feminists keep aborting their babies as if there is nothing wrong about it and then go to work to make more.  How could you possibly defend something that you know is just plain wrong.  Doesn't make sense.

Also let me know where you see an article or valid statement about Palin wanting to teach creationism in schools.  Don't you think that is a petty issue to be discussing right now.  That doesn't do anything to ruin her credibility so stop reading The New York Times please.  And why is creationism a bad thing?
