  1. I know the state of Washington just made it a law, effective January 1, 08  No texting while driving unless you want a fat ticket!!  If you are also speeding, you will get two tickets.

  2. I agree... Texting on a cell phone is too distracting to do while driving an automobile.  The practice should be outlawed in all states.

  3. I know that it's illegal as of 1/1/08 in Washington state, but they can't pull you over if your on your phone or see you texting. They have to have another reason to pull you over and then they can at that point write you up for texting or being on your phone while driving. I know that it is also a law in CA and I also think NV. How can you drive if your texting anyway, wouldn't that be like having a computer in your car? Ins. companies have also done studies that show teens being on the phone or texting is the #1 cause of teen accidents today, so I think that it needs to be banned in all the states if for no other reason than to save our childrens lives.

  4. Try this iste.
