Banquet/Hall Help?

does anybody know where i can find a good sorta banquet to have my sweet 16, im only inviting like 15 people, so i need something small. oh and it should be in whitby or aruond the durham area (picker,oshawa, ajax etc.) i need to know like the price to rent the place, the price of food and all that other stuff.

I don't really know any places, snmartest thing you could do is possible Yahoo search/ Google or Mapquest might work. Sorry I couldnt really help

Here are a few links/ideas to aid you in your search. I'm not sure what kind of celebration you are planning or what your budget is but for a smaller gathering such as this, I would probably check out local community/recreation centres who often have rooms/halls for rent, church halls, local restaurants with private rooms, small clubs or the Legion, etc. You should be able to find something appropriate and reasonable. Some places provide reasonably priced catering (like the curling club) and at other places, you could bring your own food or caterer which may be a route you want to look into as well.

The one that immediately comes to mind is the Mongolian Grill in Whitby in the same complex as the AMC theatres.  Here is their website below and I know that the Whitby location has two side rooms that would probably be the perfect size for your group.

After dinner, you could go to a movie or there are a couple of other places in the entertainment complex there that you could go to (ie. Glow in the Dark Mini Putt).
