If you are speaking strictly in terms of possible assassination, who knows? One thing you have to understand, however, is that every President receives hundreds if not thousands of threats over the course of their career. The Secret Service investigates each and every one of them (you don't want this, trust me) and they put you on a watchlist permanently if they think you are a low-level threat. If they think you are a medium to high level threat you face possible arrest and criminal charges. Of course almost all of them are not truly serious but every one has to be investigated as if it were. Most cases are just threatening letters sent to the President but some--like this case--are more serious.

Asked about the decision Wednesday in an interview with KCRG-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the Illinois senator said he hoped to show his patriotism by explaining his ideas to citizens.

"I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest," he said in the interview. "Instead, I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testament to my patriotism."

The television interview didn't include an explanation for his decision or when he stopped wearing such a pin.

Yes, I feel Barack Obama will be as great a  president as JFK

   I just dont want anything to happen to him,, I feel secret service needs to step up and be improved..

   There are way too many "Crazies" in this world...

   We for sure need Change, Give Obama the Chance,,,

The thought of Mc Cain president scares me,, He will be like Bush only worse..
