  1. Both candidates, Republican and Democrat say the same, and that's the way it should be

  2. I'm glad to hear it, but it doesn't reassure me very much.

  3. Hi Stephen,

It matters not what Obama says as he will not be the next president of the United States of America.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Miche ; })

  4. i think hes right

  5. I Support Obama and I agree with him.

  6. I don't know but I think Obama has some potential to lead the US on a different path.

He lived outside the States too so he knows a few things more than McCain who is only an ex-army man, period.

Also this Obama-Clinton duel has given him a lot of publicity so he might grab some votes of the silent majority voters.

Anyway I would worry a lot if I was an Israeli citizen, because Obama had a very clean profile since now so he won't be easy pray for the Jewish lobby in the future.

At least with a black president in America the Palestinians will have a better chance for a better life.

    My 2c.

  7. I think he's just kissing Israel's *** so when he becomes president (i dont want to get into that whole mccain obama thing here) he is suported by Israel. Anyone that is educated should know that Jerusalem should be owned by no one.

  8. Now in any politician's aspiriations, I wonder about the sincerity of their campaign speeches and promises. The candidate you mentioned is of no exception to this.

Now that Romney is out, I pick McCain.

Obama freaked out over Bush's comments at the Knesset, and I think it shows alot about the sincerity of Obama's campaign promises.

He can promise til the sun rises tomorrow and I still won't believe a word of it.

In AIPAC for Obama to say (see link already provided by asker) "All those threats were known in 2002, he said, yet the Bush administration "ignored it and instead invaded and occupied Iraq."

Isn't that so telling? YEARS after the fact when  America is already committed he thinks he can do WHAT to change things? He said what? "INVADED and OCCUPIED"?!  Obama is so out of it.  He's speaking rhetoric and people are falling for it... so sad.

Yes, Jerusalem needs to stay united but what has that got to do with the price of tea in China? The man is a FAKE.

This Jewish woman is going to wear some nice "golden" earrings when I vote for McCain and while he wasn't my original choice at least Obama won't be "elevated to a platform" where he can do harm. Hopefully Romney will be Vice President and that McCain will have a good cabinet.

Jewish voters need to pay attention to what really is said instead of an empty campaign promise.

  9. Holy crawly, just 2-3 weeks ago all the neoMuslims on this site were calling him brother look at them now, Jerusalem will stay the UNDIVIDED capital of israel for ever.

    My 53ct

  10. I though Jimmy Carter was naive about foreign policy.  The statement is moot since he will be lucky to get 20% of the general vote in November.

  11. Obama is the Zionist best graduate president so far. He was created and made by the Zionist strategists.

  12. Palstine is the true country, stupid israel nicked it.

  13. Jerusalem must be international city , Fascist Zionazi pigs must not be owner of Jerusalem.

  14. OK, wake up call for Jerusalem.  A few facts:

Jews have considered Jerusalem their Holy City for thousands of years.

When jews pray anywhere in the world, they face towards Jerusalem.

A prayer said by every Jew is "Next Year in Jerusalem"

This has been going on since before the existence of Islam.

Muslims consider Jerusalem their THIRD holiest city.

When they pray, they face Mecca.  If a Muslim is in Jersalem he will turn his back on Jerusalem and will face Mecca.

The Mosque in Jerusalem was built on top of the ruins of the Temple.

These are all facts.   What do these facts tell you???

Jerusalem is the heart of Judiasm.   NOT the heart of Islam.

  15. Yes he is right. But I daresay those who hate the USA and Israel will bleat and whine. It seems that some muslims would only be happy if Obama said he was going to nuke Israel. I see the usual poster of hate against the US and Israel is already complaining. This poster is a well known poster of this type of rubbish and if you email me I will tell you who he is.

  16. Obama is a politician seeking votes.

    My 2 cents.

  17. Jerusalem is Israel. No question about it. This is fact; not opinion.

  18. I think he says this to get votes.  Not just Jewish votes, which are something like 0.1% of the electorate, but this is how most Americans feel about Israel.  It is politics and he was speaking to AIPAC.  It may be what he believes as well, but as a man who has foreign policy advisors from the Carter administration, I am skeptical.

Even the Israelis were ready, just before the last intifada, to agree to a peace plan in which compromises would be made to divide Jerusalem again.  I think they were mostly face-saving compromises for the Palestinians that would re-define suburbs of eastern Jerusalem as Jerusalem proper, without going back to anything like the 1967 borders, but it's clear that the issue of Jerusalem is one that will have to be resolved to the satisfaction (or equal dissatisfaction in a compromise) of both Israelis and Palestinians before there is peace.  The issue is incredibly sensitive, and any solution will have to show great respect for the holy places of Judaism and Islam.

There will certainly never again be a situation like 1948-1967 in which Israel cedes control of holy sites in our holiest city.  These were desecrated by the Jordanian authorities who were supposed to maintain them, Jews were denied access, and synagogues in areas under Arab control were destroyed.  Jerusalem will never be divided in the way it was in 1967, the U.S. has come to recognize it as the Israeli capital after many years of refusing to do so, and I do believe Obama probably agrees with these sentiments, at least.

  19. I had hoped the U.S. was getting ready to join the rest of the planet, but it seems a tad too late.

Obama seems the typical Zionist puppet, wars, covert ops, pro-Israel obsession, etc have destroyed Americas reputation amongst anyone in the world with a brain cell.

  20. Obama couldn't care less about Israel and Zionism.   However, he cares very MUCH to benefit from the votes of the numerous Christian Evangelicals who have some distorted notion that a nation called "Israel" figures into their "getting into heaven".    Pure c**p, I know (as a Pagan, I hold no truck with religious mumbo-jumbo) but Obama is no different than any number of presidential candidates who will say ANYTHING to get elected.

  21. He lost my support. I don't think anything will "change". Period.

  22. I disagree with his concept.

  23. i agree with him, jerusalem is part of israel, it belongs to the jewish people

Ever since King David made Jerusalem the capital of Israel more than 3,000 years ago, the city has played a central role in Jewish existence. The Western Wall in the Old City — the last remaining wall of the ancient Jewish Temple, the holiest site in Judaism — is the object of Jewish veneration and the focus of Jewish prayer. Three times a day, for thousands of years, Jews have prayed "To Jerusalem, thy city, shall we return with joy," and have repeated the Psalmist's oath: "If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning."

Jerusalem "has known only two periods of true greatness, and these have been separated by 2,000 years. Greatness has only happened under Jewish rule," Leon and Jill Uris wrote in Jerusalem. "This is so because the Jews have loved her the most, and have remained constant in that love throughout the centuries of their dispersion....It is the longest, deepest love affair in history.Jews have been living in Jerusalem continuously for nearly two millennia. They have constituted the largest single group of inhabitants there since the 1840's (map of Jerusalem in 1912) .Jerusalem contains the Western Wall of the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism.

Jerusalem was never the capital of any Arab entity. In fact, it was a backwater for most of Arab history. Jerusalem never served as a provincial capital under Muslim rule nor was it ever a Muslim cultural center. For Jews, the entire city is sacred, but Muslims revere a site — the Dome of the Rock — not the city. "To a Muslim," observed British writer Christopher Sykes, "there is a profound difference between Jerusalem and Mecca or Medina.

  24. It doesn't matter. Even if he becomes president, the US protects Israel; it doesn't make any decisions for it.
