Barath stages a stunning comeback with Clarke Road United in Eastern Credit Union Premier League

prior to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. The batting star is now confident to play for his national side.
Barath spent a good time in the field yesterday as T&TEC elected to bat first and piled up a massive total of 414 runs.
Commenting on his fielding experience, Barath said, “I had a long day in the field. We fielded for a day and a half and I think this helped me out quite a bit as I was able to get back into the groove of things”.

Barath told, “The training I have been putting in has really paid dividends and I am also feeling the improvements due to the hard work I have put in”.

Barath felt quite comfortable while batting and fielding yesterday and had no problem the entire day. He said, “Everything went quite smoothly and I have no complaints”.
The right-handed batsman has paid tribute to his medical team which assisted and treated him to recover in such a short span of time.
Barath has been among the top-ranked players in West Indies Under-19 cricket team. He considers himself to be a game changer and a match winning player as he is fully confident of his batting skills that he has tested on many occasions.
The batsman is happy to have an early comeback in the league and he is committed to deliver marvellous performances in the coming games.
