Barbados, Spring break?

So i am deciding weather or not i should go to Barbados for spring break with my friends, its the cheapest thing so far but i am worried that its a bad area, has anyone ever been there.

i just want to know if its a good area to be at

i live in barbados and its especially great this time of year

im sure you'll enjoying tanning or the beach or as i do snorkelling and diving

st.lawrence gap has GREAT nightlife http://www.barbados.org/stlaw.htm and oistins town is pumping on friday and saturday night when there's a fish fry. George's fish net grill is the best and his grilled potatoes w' grilled fish of your choice and tartar sauce is to die for and very resonable too

you could also try just grillin' in quayside centre

of course no country is w'out crime but as long as you are as savvy as you are at home and dont get careless w' you possessions you should be good

dont think because barbados is an "island paradise" that you can go out w'out shuting your doors but the people here are mostly polite and friendly towards tourists and natives alike

Barbados is lovely and so are the people. The best way to see the Island is to hire a car, so don't forget to take your drivers licence. Buses too are fairly cheap.

Like all countries, it has it's share of people wanting you to buy drugs etc. Just ignore these if you are approached.
