i know the legal drinking age is 18, but 10-17 year olds can drink with a parent... at an all inclusive resort my son will be 17, if i give permission, can he get the adult wristband?

how does that law work, thanks

  1. First time i ever heard of this.....Theres no legal limit for drinking alcohol in Barbados me thinks....ehhh I know of 13 and 14 year olds from the UK who come here on a yearly bases and become pissy drunk and have 0 trouble.


  2. If you are in an all-inclusive resort you should be able to do what you want but I doubt that a wrist-band will be given since the only ones there should be the guests. Wrist-bands are for entry into paying nightclubs.  It might not be an issue for him to enter most nightclubs.

    You can give your son whatever you like but it is not advisable to encourage minors to drink alcohol.
