Barbados beaches , safety, and costs?

Can anyone recommend some nice resorts in Barbados that have: Soft Sand beaches, with shallow calm seas. Is it safe to walk out in the evening or hire and car ?

Also is it best to go AI ? How much is it to eat and drink out etc.

Also any good trips worth going on ?

theres a ton of info on this site check out the resort reviews and you can check costs from US and Canada I like the AI because we tend to drink our moneys worth on vacation.

You can lie back and relax under the blue skies at The Boatyard and you can also indulge in some of the many water sports available including snorkeling, scuba diving, beach volleyball, kayaks, pedal boats and ocean trampolines!

As for hiring a car, you can do it and explore Barbados for yourself! Taking into consideration that walking out in the evening is absolutely safe.

Regarding the food and drink, it is hard to say because there are different price ranges depending on the category of the restaurant, but generally the price starts from 30 $ for good meal with drink.

I remember when there was very few hotels on the island and we went to a bar down the street from our hotel.  Even then it was perfectly fine. Islanders all over the place and they were all so nice.

Miami beach is perfect for just relaxing since its nice and calm, for water activity's Basheba is place for you with the hardcoreg pumping waves rolling in one after the other :D. Barbados crime  rate is low so its very safe to walk out in the evening or take a nice drive though the country. I do recommend hiring a car because its got a/c and it gets quite hot here. Prices in food vary where you go and what you have for lunch. hope it helps!
