  1. I would say Jan to June is the best weather. June 1 to Nov 30th is hurricane season. It gets hot in the summer and humid and the rains will come with the tropical storms.

I have been in Barbados in March and the weather was very nice, no rain. I now like to travel after spring break, prices come down a bit and airfare and resorts go on sale. Like right now. (April or May)

    Enjoy Barbados)

  2. April/May is nice

Sunshine! Off peak! Cheaper flights and accomodation.

  3. Barbados has great climate and everything.  And as the history books say Barbados gets over 3000 hours of sunshine a year......

Hurricanes aren't so much of a worry to Barbados because it is soo far east... Hurricanes are rarely ever formed when they pass over Barbados...

The good thing about rainstorms in Barbados is they usually just last like a few minutes....  The rain is really confined and heavy for a few minutes and then the clouds will sail out to sea and you'll see the sun come out again....

As said before the "rainy season" (Which mind you is not like India's Monsoon Season) but the so-called more rainy time is like July - December. But it is not bad.  For one thing you usually don't get for example an entire day where it is only raining...  At least part of that day it wont be raining unless there's a tropical depression heading towards the island.

  4. December

  5. January to the end of May is pretty much the dry season here in Barbados.  If it does rain, you can expect the rain to come in really quick bursts.  Literally over in like 10 minutes flat.

If you look online it will appear like there's always rain in Barbados.  What you're seeing is the reference to the fact that tropical showers occur almost daily in caribbean islands (except for the heart of the dry season).

The thing is (speaking of Barbados specifically now because that's where I'm from) it could be raining in one area of the island and completely sunny just a mile or two away.

So Jan to May and you're solid, but other months are great as well.  August is one of the most visited months (because of Crop Over carnival) and it's smack in the middle of the "hurricane season".  Hurricanes usually miss Barbados because we're so far south.  Hope this helps.  The link below shows the weather in Barbados by month.

    Have a blast!
