Barbados honeymoons?

Question

Get married end of June 2009 - thinking of Barbados as a honeymoon destination. Has anyone been there at this time of year. Can see it is warm but is it loadsa sunshine as well ?

Also, where are the best resorts.

there is a beautiful beach, sunset   etc

I think most of the best resorts are on the west coast. There is a wide choice available. The exception being the Hilton which is on the south coast. There is some risk of rain in June.

Yes there is loads of sunshine year round but at this time of year there is always the possibility of a tropical storm etc. therefore you should make sure your trip won't coincide with any such events. Don't worry though hurricanes hitting Barbados are extremely rare.

By best I assume you mean the most exclusive and therefore the most expensive so my #1 choice for you would be Sandy Lane. You could also try Royal Westmoreland or the Hilton. I'm sure all of these hotels have websites.
