  1. You lucky girl, I had a weekend in Blackpool mind you it was 1955.

  2. The West is best, esp Sandy Lane.

  3. West. St James

    good place is mango bay

  4. Do you know how you are going to sort this out because if not, my friend got Wishcraft to sort a holiday to Barbados last year and it worked out £250 cheaper than what she had looked at, plus it was much less hassle as they did everything for her.  She had a brilliant time there by the way.

  5. What part to visit?. . . all of it!

The island is not that big, so you can see a good bit of it if the mood takes you. Slip into island time and just enjoy yourselves.

If the faster, busier, lets go shopping sort of thing is you thing, then go for the busy south west.

If you want to see the wilder side of the island, go for a drive over to the north east side of the island. Wild, rocky and sometimes windy, but well worth the look.

If it is beaches and sand and palm trees, then try the mid west coast, away from the hotels of the busy south west, and the assosiated beach vendors selling all sorts of t'ings! The mid west is still unspoilt, lovely beaches with unlimited access all along the coast. Make sure you go for a snorkel off Folkestone Park near Holetown - good coral reef with lots of fish. Take some bread with you and see how many fishy friends you make! And look out for turtles. We played with several on this reef while snorkelling.

Try Cocomos for a romantic meal on the beach. Make sure you try the fresh coconuts they sell by the roadside.

OMG, I want to go back.

I was there in June last year, as my second visit to the island. If you want to PM me to ask anything, I would be delighted to try to answer it.

    Enjoy yourselves.

  6. It really depends on what you like.  There's the East coast with the amazing scenery or the west coast with the most commercial scene, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs etc.

So rustic beauty of the east coast compared with nightlife of the west coast.

Your question is a little open-ended unfortunately.

You can shoot me a more detailed question there and I'll give you an answer.  I was born and raised in Barbados.

Lovely spot for a honeymoon! :-) Great choice.
