Any Barbados food restaurants? Also, are there any fun things to do for the day for young couples? No snorkeling activities. Are there any caves I can explore besides Harrison's Cave? Are there any animals (turtles on the ocean) I can find on the island?

  1. do the island tour safari - it's fun and you get to see the North and east

Go to Crane beach, and other beaches on the south and west

    the helipcopter thing is cool

    shopping in bridgetown

eat at st lourance gap (ship inn)

  3. I can promise you, anything you really want to do,you will find. All you need to do is ask.

  4. The very best restaurant is Brown Sugar.  The very best place to see turtles in the sea is off the beach outside Bridgetown.  The only other animals are green monkey (up in the middle) and mongooses, all over the island.

Fun thing = hire a Mini Moke and drive round the whole island :-)

  5. Hi

Your so lucky  going to Beautiful Barbados..!

There are loads of fun things to do at Barbados.  On Monday nights they have amazing show at Harbour Lights Night Club at Bridgetown.   Green monkeys, singers, stilt walkers, entertainers, excellent entertainment not to be missed.  You pay a set fee, which includes bbq. The bar is  open until to early hours of the morning.

I would definitely recommend going on the Harbour master cruise, Excellent show, limbo dancers, dinner,  Don't forget to walk upon the top deck, very romantic.

Bajan Roots & Rhythms, held at The Plantation Theatre, is fantastic dinner and stage show, you should get your partner to volunteer for the Limbo dancing.

Jolly Roger Cruises are a must in the daytime.....!

Rope swinging, plank walking, Drinking never ending rum...

You can get tickets from the boatyard at Bridgetown. The Boatyard is a great nightclub.

I would recommend the island safari adventure.  Just hold tight...

Restaurants depend where you are staying.  I stayed at St James and got a bus ride to Mullins Bay, Very posh restaurant overlooking the ocean.  They have a variety of great bars and restaurants at St Lawrence gap. The food is amazing at the Mexican Restaurant.

There were many turtles just off Sandy Lane beach, St James.

    Have an amazing holiday...!

  6. I have been once in Barbados and besides nice beaches , excelent rum there's not much to see. It's a small island , there was only one cave we could visit. The people are very kind and the calipso music is great. The capital Bridgetown consists a main street and a few side streets. Besides a few music shops and souvenir shops and of course the bridge there's not much to see. There main attraction are the nice beaches.
