Barbaro and Eight Belles - Are they buried yet?

I was just wondering weither Eight Belles and Barbaro were buried yet. I know they were both going to be buried at Churchill Downs just don't know when. I would like to pay my respects to them.

They are both to be put to rest at Churchill Downs.

Both horses were cremated.  Barbaro was interred outside the Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs... he's outside the entrance so you can visit him whether the park is open or not.  I'm not entirely sure about Eight Belles.  I do remember hearing that they were going to bury her ashes there, but I'm not sure where or when.  She'll likely be buried either in the infield or in the Kentucky Derby Museum graveyard next to the great Swaps.  I'm assuming that they buried her already, but I can't say for certain.

Barbaro has not been buried yet.

He was cremated, and I read somewhere that his ashes are in the closet at the Jacksons' home.

But in the spring of 2009, he will be buried in front of Churchill Downs, and a statue will be placed over his burial site.

As for Eight Belle's, I don't know. All I've heard is that she will likely be buried at Churchill Downs.
