Barbaro vs Phar Lap?

Question

Who would win over a mile and a half both with 62.5 kg (156 pounds) on a dead track?

i'm gonna guess Phar Lap...  he's much more experienced at the longer distances.  Barbaro never ran more than a mile and a quarter.  and Barbaro never carried that much weight...  probably not even when training.  Not that i don't like Barbaro...  I really do.  but under these conditions, Phar Lap would probably win.

Barbaro,  he was un-willing to be beaten.

Yesterday would've been his fourth B-Day too. :(

Barbaro because he rocks! He had the stride I like to see in TB horse. He has the courage and stamina even through that accident and his death. He is gifted and he can kick Phar Lap's butt. I would like to see that match but it will never happen.

Neither they are both dead.  Although Phar Lap might have a better shot since he's still around in pieces while Barbaro has been cremated.
