La Blaugrana’s former vice-president has voiced his criticism for Sandro Rosell and has stated that the club’s current president is to be blamed for Pep Guardiola’s indecisiveness.
Albert Perrin stated that the way Rosell has handled the issue has been poor and fears that it may lead to Guardiola parting ways with the current Spanish champions.
The former vice-president appeared to be critical of Rosell and maintained that the Spaniard is not making things any better for the Catalan club.
Perrin served as the club’s vice-president under the reign of Joan Laporta. He recalled Laporta’s time with the club and emphasized that things were better managed under him.
The former member expressed that the current management of the UEFA Champions League title holders isn't up to mark and that it would cause harm to the club.
The Spaniard was particularly concerned about Josep Guardiola’s future at the Nou Camp and commented that it is more than important for Barca to make sure that the 41-year-old signs a new contract with the Spanish giants.
Guardiola’s future with the Club World Cup champions has been under the shadow of uncertainty for quite some time now. Several reports have suggested that the Spanish mentor is ready to make an exit from the club which saw him emerge as one of the best managers
in the world at the moment.
It is to be believed that Guardiola will depart from the Catalan giants and make a move to a new club at the end of the season.
While talking to COM Radio, Perrin quoted:
"The current board is not making it easy for Guardiola to renew," Perrin said. "There is not a good atmosphere. They don't defend him - it is Guardiola who has to make statements when it should be the president. These things eat away at you. There is no
feeling between Rosell and Guardiola, at least not like before.
"It is difficult. When you come into office, you take over something you haven't made. This is the team that we built and the coach who we took a chance on. I hope, I think and I wish that Guardiola will continue for the good of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604."
Reports suggest that the current La Blaugrana head coach is on his way to join the Italian giants, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan. Will Guardiola move or will he stay? Only time will unfold.
