Barcelona defender Dani Alves has warned his team-mates that Arsenal will come to the Nou Camp with all guns blazing. The Spanish giants will welcome the Gunners to their home ground for the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 encounter on Tuesday,
8th March.
Arsenal will come into the match with a vital one goal lead, courtesy of their 2-1 victory against the Catalans at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg of the contest. However, Barcelona will still be favourites to progress to the quarter-finals of the
tournament. The Spanish giants defeated the Gunners 4-1 here last season to book their place in the semi-finals.
However, defender Dani Alves believes that their opposition will not make it easy for them this time around. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-Zaragoza-c40344 at the Nou Camp. Alves claimed that the Gunners would pose a different sort of challenge,
since they always stay true to their attacking mentality.
Speaking on the upcoming encounter, Alves said, “It will be the same Arsenal as ever - an attacking team. That's the way they play and I don't think they know any other way. I don't think Arsenal know how to play like Zaragoza did.”
He added, “But nor do we - against Zaragoza we carried on attacking and not once did we sit back."
Barca’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Seydou-Keita-c33177 believes that a solid defence will be the key to winning the tie against Arsenal. Keita claimed that if his team could manage to keep a clean sheet against the Gunners, they would almost surely go on to win the match.
Keita said, "It's the biggest game of the year for us, and it's vital we make a strong start. We have to keep a clean sheet. If we manage to shut them out then I'm sure that, with (the quality of) Messi, (David) Villa and Pedro, we'll score."
The two giants of club football will clash on 8th March at the Nou Camp. With the quality both sides possess, the result is far from certain.
