La Blaugrana’s liquidity problems look to play a part as Barcelona ponder swoop for AC Milan defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 in the upcoming summer transfer window.
With their backline continuously being exposed over the course of season, the Camp Nou faithful want the arrival of defensive reinforcements. After showing admiration for the Catalan club, AC Milan’s Thiago Silva is tipped to become a part of the reigning
European Champions.
Barcelona have contacted the impressive centre-back for his availability and the player himself has responded to the European champions’ flirtations.

Silva has stated that he wants the two clubs to come to terms before he takes his decision regarding the next step in his career. The humble defender has a contract until the end of June 2016, at the San Siro, and wants to honour his commitments.
"Although [Barca] are not having a good time [in La Liga], in my opinion they are the best team in the world," the centre-half told El Mundo Deportivo.
"It is the dream of every player to wear the shirt of Barcelona.”
"I'm aware [of the rumours] through the media and friends, who tell me that Barcelona is interested in me.”
"We have no formal proposal but you never know what might happen in the future.”
"But I'll leave it to my agent. For now, I'm just thinking of Milan and returning there to win titles."
However, adding Silva to the ranks of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 looks to be a tall order, with the financial negotiations being a big hurdle. La Blaugrana would want to negotiate a reasonable price for the Brazilian defender, while bringing the Rossoneri to the table
is easier said than done.
AC Milan supremos, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani and Silvio Berlusconi, have alerted Barcelona not to set their eyes on Silva if they are not prepared to part company with sum of over 35 million Euros.

The Italian club have proven track record to get premium value for their players, and the sale of the Brazilian star will not come easy.
The deal might not end in a positive result, as Barcelona are not willing to match AC Milan’s asking price. It has been reported that the Catalan club are willing to pay as much as 25 million Euros for the defender - a sizeable difference in valuation!
La Blaugrana can use the pending monies from the sale of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029, to sweeten the deal; however, Barcelona’s financial statements are against a deal worth 35 million Euros.
The Camp Nou-based outfit will have to chalk out Milan’s asking price or they can wave good-bye to one of the best centre-backs in modern football.
