  1. Reus is 6 miles SW of the city.  Girona is 60 miles NE of the city.  I'd go with Reus.

  2. Girona airport and Reus airport are each over 100km away from Barcelona and you have at least 1.5 hour transfer times from them to Barcelona city centre. Girona is to the North of Barcelona and Reus is to the South.

Reus airport - There is a public bus that leaves from Reus airport to Barcelona. It leaves from directly outside the door of arrivals at Reus airport. It’s operated by the company Hispano Igualadina, and you can buy tickets in the ticket office in the arrivals terminal. The journey time is one and a half hours, and it costs 11 euros for a single ticket and 18 euros for a return. The bus travels to Barcelona Sants bus station. The time table is adapted to coincide with flight arrivals.

Girona Airport - The bus stops right outside the airport and will take you to Estacio d' Autobusos Barcelona Nord (Barcelona's main bus terminal) in Barcelona city centre. The Journey time from Girona to Barcelona city centre is approximately 1 hour 10 mins.Tickets cannot be reserved in advance and cost 12 Euros for a single and 21 Euros for a return.

  3. Both are far from Barcelona: about 70 miles (100 Km).

Check out this website for transportation info:

  4. Girona is about an hour from Barcelona.  Barcelona airport is coded BCN.  Try to fly into BCN.  If you can't, someone just gave that Reus is an hour away as well.  It wouldn't much matter, would it?

yeah.  Here's a map.  Reus is right near Tarragona, which is an hour from Barcelona to the South, by train.  Girona is an hour to the north by train.

6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

  5. Reus i'd say as it's the more commercialised airport of the two
