Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Granada or San Sebastian.

  1. well what can I add onto what sweetie just has mentioned; I completely agree with her choices San Sebastian REALLY as the last resort as it rains quite a bit there.

Barcelona YES YES YES (and it is not only for the younger ones believe me) but the beach is a major plus!!!

AND good looking people well arenot there jsut a bit everywhere??

    Have fun and good luck!

  2. I know Spain like the back of my hand and it really depends on your personality.

    I would choose

Barcelona (only beats Madrid because you have the bonus of the beach as well) - Great nightlife - good for young people

    Madrid (as above)

Valencia - Beautiful white beaches and more chilled out

Granada is wonderful - you have the sierra nevada mountains too

San Sebastian - lots of hot men

the decision is yours sweetness - you are very lucky - I adore Spain x

  3. i think it depends on if you need to improve your job or just spend 2 years...in you want to improve BARCELONA because there are too many opportunities to learn or meet othe important people...but Granada is perfect is like 5 cyties in one...the old town is really beatifull and quite, it has la Alhambra (one of the futures 7 wonders i think)also the new part of the town has lots of clubs, shops....you can gon in granada in the same day to sky in the mornig and go to the beach in the afternoon...

madrid and san sebastian you can go on holiday...

i want to say just one important thing, people or the north of spain are difficult to konw but they are better as a friend, if you have a friend or the north of spain, this fiend will be your friend for all your live, just the opposite on the south...they love parties, fun and is easier to make "friends" but be carefull : )

  4. I guess it will also depend on if there would be a difference of income between the cities. There is, of course a difference in the cost of living.

Barcelona is the highest, ridicioulous cost of flats and housing, followed by higher prices in most sections when it comes to living. (Ex. a Metro tocket in Barcelona is 1,25Euro, in Madrid 1,00 Euro.) And so on. True, Barcelona has beaches, but are they as nice as the once in Valencia or San Sebastian.

Granada would be the cheapest place to live, but no sea.

It also depends, if you like it hot or prefer a mild, cooler climat, then San Sebastian (which isn't that expensive like everybody says) would be a good option. It too has a great night live, good food, friendly people and is close to the french border and the mountains.

Valencia would be my last choice, after all, it is a big port city, nice beaches.

Personally, I fell in love with Granada (just an hour to the beaches by car.) It is cheap (free Tapas every drink ;-)
