Barcelona have been in outstanding form and it was clearly seen after they managed to defeat the Los Blancos. The Spanish Champions managed to dethrone their arch-nemesis from the top of the table as they defeated them 5-0 on their
home ground, the Nou Camp. The world is now totally enchanted by Barcelona’s outstanding display against Real Madrid and the press is completely won over.
The 5-0 win that the Catalan giants managed to pull off against Real Madrid didn’t only shake the Spanish or Catalan media but also made headlines around the world, left, right and centre. The whole world was simply stunned by
the outstanding performance of Barcelona against Real Madrid in a convincing performance during the El Clasico.
It was clear that the news papers in Barcelona were showing great disrespect for the Los Blancos after the game and a news paper named “Sport” printed a headline which read: “Slap in the face for Mourinho. Rout, humiliation and
leaders.” Another news paper named “Mundo Deportivo” simply gave a headline which emphasized the outstanding score, “5-0” being the only thing that was printed on the front page. “El 9 Esportiu” wrote “..And without abusing.”
The two newspapers published in Madrid known as “Marca” and “As” simply had no option but to admit the fact that Barcelona were simply outstanding against the Madrid side. “Marca” read “Mouchisimo Barca” with “Mouch” meaning as
much and “isimo” being the famous defeated manager Mourinho. “As” simply wrote “Thrashed and driven mad.”
If the local papers were not enough, Madrid also faced humiliation in the national press.  National newspaper also featured the game in that took place in the Nou Camp and in Catalonia the paper read “Reality Bath” while “La Vanguardia”
read “Barca humiliates Real Madrid with an exhibition of football.” Another newspaper named “Ara” which came out for the first time on Sunday read “..And now what?”
There were many newspapers that wrote in the favour of Barcelona’s outstanding display against Real Madrid and El Mundo was the paper which read “Barcelona humiliates Real Madrid once again.”
The coverage of the game did not only take place in Spain but also around the world especially in Argentina. There were papers writing from Argentina to Portugal about the “big match” that took place in the Spanish La Liga. “Jornal
do Noticias” simply read “Real humiliated!” and in France the “L’Equipe” read “Barca scream. Real mute!”
Argentina’s newspaper “Clarin” wrote the headlines “Barcelona dance and rout in the clasico” while “Ole” wrote “die laughing, again playing in the name of the Madrid Coach.”
The famous El Clasico managed to become even more “classic” with this recent win. The Spanish La Liga was hailed all around the world even though the game was titled totally on Guardiola’s side and Mourinho was simply humiliated
in the world media.
