The retired Spaniard has claimed that La Blaugrana are fully focused on their match against AC Milan and are not distracted by ambitions to win a treble.
The club’s sporting director has stressed that even though the Catalan giants are in the race to win the Spanish La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League, they are concentrating solely on their next competitive fixture.
Zubizarreta expressed that it is too soon to be thinking of winning a treble and that the current Spanish champions are not considering it for now.
Having won all the three trophies in 2008, Barca are yet again speculated to be the most successful club across Europe at the end of the current season’s campaign.

Currently, the Catalan giants are set to face Italian champions, AC Milan, in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, on Wednesday at the San Siro.

Even though the Rossoneri are among Europe’s elitest, the Spanish giants are considered favourites to qualify for the semi-finals.
Apart from their European campaign, the Nou Camp outfit are also the finalists of the Copa del Rey and will lock horns against Athletic Bilbao in the final.
However, it is the Liga BBVA where Pep Guardiola’s men seem to be in trouble. Barcelona are still six points behind league leaders, Real Madrid, at the top of the Spanish Primera Division’s standings and with the form that Jose Mourinho’s men have
enjoyed throughout the season, it seems quite unlikely for Barca to defend their title.
While addressing the press, Zubizarreta was quoted as saying:
"We want to win all the competitions. We will not give up on winning some tournaments just because there are others which are more appealing.
"We have to keep the same level from previous years, but we are not thinking about that [the treble]. We are focused on the game against Milan and then the match against Athletic [Bilbao]. In La Liga there have been some matches in which we did not
play that well, but we have not been that bad this season."
