The witty tactician stated that the Camp Nou based entity has yet to hit their stride as he pointed towards their inauspicious start to La Liga matches.
However, the Catalan manager is upbeat about their performances, commenting that Barcelona will be up and running once the season matures.
“There have been games where we have been at a high level and others that our start has cost us in,” the 43-year-old stated while talking to reporters at press conference.
“As we go through the season we will be looking to develop a further rhythm. We are currently not playing at 100 per cent.”

“But I do think we are physically stronger than we have been in the past because these are virtually the same players.”
Vilanova will not have a handful of first team players at his disposal, with Andres Iniesta being the most high profile player to be ruled out of Barcelona’s trip to Andalusia.
The manager admitted that it is a nuisance with the smallish squad he has but played down its importance, claiming La Blaugrana are used to the situation.
“It always affects you when numbers are this low, but for a club like this, with so many games, we are used to it. Some will recover for Lisbon and others for the Clasico, but we will have to wait.
“When the injuries are concentrated on a certain position in the field then it does further complicate matters, but I saw [Alex] Song do very well the other day at centre-back.”
