Barcelona boss hails Jose Mourinho - Part 2
The team of Josep Pep Guardiola has been a little out of touch during this season. It is true that they were simply outstanding last season, and defeated Real Madrid in both the legs of the Spanish La Liga and later to be crowned as champions. However, this
season the players look tired and this is not only because of the pre seasons and the tight schedule that they have this year but also because eight of their players were a part of the FIFA World Cup 2010 final.
Barcelona were the side which provided the highest number of players during the FIFA World Cup 2010. All the first team players in the Spanish team were at least in the squad of their national side and this was a record that the Catalan side achieved this
year. Their youngest squad member, Sergio Busquets was also a part of the Spanish team and played as a first team player for the World Cup winners.
The Spanish side, after winning the FIFA World Cup 2010, barely got any rest and the players became tired as they were not given a long vacation. After being a part of a small vacation, the players returned to training and because of so much fatigue they
got injured and time and time again Guardiola had to replace the players with the Barca B youngsters.
It is true that Barcelona signed a few new players but no one can forget the fact that the newly signed David Villa was also a part of the Spanish first team and he seemed a bit tired too while playing for Barcelona and he is simply not coming to his goal
scoring form.
On the other hand, Real Madrid have signed amazing and talented youngsters who can easily work with busy schedules helped by their young age. Of course, under Jose Mourinho the things have changed a lot and that is the reason why Real Madrid have been in
such great form. Cristiano Ronaldo is the one who is performing at his best and he has already scored ten goals in only eleven appearances that he has made for the Los Blancos.
Now the question rises, what will Real Madrid do when they are going to face Barcelona? Of course, everyone saw what happened to the Catalan giants when they faced Inter Milan when the Italian champions were under Jose Mourinho. Barcelona were knocked out
even with a 10 men Inter Milan and the Catalan giants simply couldn’t capitalize because the Portuguese coach simply out classed Pep Guardiola.
It was Barcelona that won both the matches that were played between the two teams. Can it be the same this year? Well, it is obvious that only time is going to tell but at the moment with the form that Jose Mourinho’s men are providing, it is becoming obvious
that the tired Barcelona players are not going to be enough to beat the fabulous Real Madrid side.
Everyone saw how the team performed against AC Milan when the match was expected to be simply outstanding. Everyone thought that AC Milan are going to give a tough time to Real Madrid but even with such an amazing attacking line up, including Alexandre Pato,
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the legendary Ronaldinho and Robinho, the Italian side was simply outplayed at Santiago Bernabeu and defeated 2-0.
Pep Guardiola has already told the press that he praises Jose Mourinho and he is the best in the world. This simply makes it obvious that the Catalan coach is scared of Mourinho being a part of Real Madrid and he is going to give his best to defeat the best
tactician in the world. What is going to happen? We can only wait for “El Classico” to take place.
