Alves has developed under Guardiola’s guidance into one of the best attacking right-backs in the world and the Brazilian has cemented his place in a team filled with talented players.
Guardiola has had enormous success with Barcelona since joining them in 2008. Under his supervision, the Catalan club has won eight titles so far. Moreover, the current campaign is also proving to be highly successful as Barcelona are looking to add the
Spanish La Liga, Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League titles to the Nou Camp trophy cabinet.
It looks like the 40-year-old is looking for a new challenge as he himself stated that he would leave the Catalan club for new ventures in the future.
Alves regards Guardiola among the top football managers in the world and believes that he would be badly missed if he does move away from the Nou Camp.
He said, “We follow him with our eyes shut, He is very intelligent, he always knows what he is doing. To not follow Guardiola would be foolish. Since we are not foolish we will follow him until he gets tired of us.”
“Everyone has their cycle and one day his will come to an end. We hope his cycle will last for a very long time because we can't imagine Barca without Guardiola,” added the Brazilian.

After success with Barcelona, Guardiola is certainly in demand as many European clubs are willing to break the bank to include the master tactician in their ranks.
However, Guardiola has a busy schedule of matches ahead as the Catalan giants eye domestic and European success.
