Barcelona--for a short stay?

i am going to barcelona from 19th-24thdec and i would like someone to help me somewhere nice but ecconomical and easy access to airport. i am getting married on19th dec and would like to supprise the new missus for a few days,as honeymoon is not to feb. with xmas,wedding and honeymoon cash is becomming hard to find, i would be very grateful for any help!
