Barcelona manager Guardiola and Capello enter the fray: Liverpool manager hunt round up

A number of new names have entered the frame to be Liverpool’s next manager including former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 manager, Fabio Capello and Barcelona’s Pep Guardiola.
The speculation surrounding who will be hired as a replacement to Kenny Dalglish as the manager of Liverpool Football Club is heating up as a number of names are being linked at the moment.
Earlier on reports emerged that the club was in talks with Wigan Athletic manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Martinez, while other reports claimed that only permission for the two parties to speak was given and no talks had taken place yet.
However, Martinez is one of many names being linked to the post and two new entries that have everyone’s eyebrows raised are http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello.
The two managers find themselves among the likes of former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager, Andre Villas-Boas, as well as Didier Deschamps.
According to the Daily Telegraph and The Independent, Roberto Martinez remains a front runner in the race to be announced the next Liverpool manager. However, The Express is reporting that Pep Guardiola is currently at the top of the Anfield wish list.
The Times follows in The Express’s footsteps however, they have also thrown in Fabio Capello’s name in the mix as well, despite the Italian stating that his preference would be to manage London side, Chelsea.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Martinez-c24468 pegged down as a favourite while at the same time have thrown Brendan Rodgers in the mix as well.
The Daily Mail also report on Liverpool’s desire to sign Pep Guardiola as the manager at Anfield while the Daily Mirror reports on how the Reds are in talks with Martinez but would also wish to speak with Pep Guardiola.
It should be mentioned here that Fenway Sports Group are known for interviewing multiple candidates before hiring any one to fill a vacant position. So all of the reports could be true at this point in time. However, it is still early days and one can expect a number of names to be added to the list as well as ruled out over the course of the next few weeks.
