Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta suffers an injury
The Spanish midfielder Andres Iniesta is suffering from an upper back sprain, as told by the club officials. Iniesta was involved in a tough league game against Hercules over the weekend which the Catalan Giants won 0-3, while being away from home.
Andres Iniesta has been playing consistently this season. Last season, the Spaniard was a bit out of touch. The Ballon d’Or nominee was barely playing any matches for Barcelona last season because of the calf and knee injury that he suffered from throughout

Although Andres Iniesta was playing almost all the games for Barcelona and he was expected to continue, he suffered an injury during the 80th minute of the game against Hercules. The Spanish midfielder fell awkwardly when David Cortes tackled

Andres Iniesta is not going to play against Almeria when Barcelona face them during the midweek, for the second leg of the Copa Del Rey semi final. The Catalan Giants won the first leg 5-0 at the Nou Camp and they are considered to be favourites for winning
the tournament.
